Tugs on all things heart-related…. Dana’s amazing ability to musically translate her own real-life experiences is a talent we all covet greatly, but what makes this track even more amazing is its ability to captivate the emotions of an entire audience with seemingly little effort. Everything about this track is strength and growth with a powerful and much-needed message that sometimes we all need to hear. What has been done with this track is astronomical and needs to be heard by many more people.

It almost has a conversational tone to it, similar to Cat Stevens’ Father & Son. Filled with levity, learnings and lessons from life – this one is for the legacy. The harmonies tend to be notes you naturally follow, creating a beautiful thread of sound… Soothing and melodic, her voice is the guiding light in a song like this. The honesty and morals from the trials of life are what she is putting forward, but like a musical teacher – someone like Mitchell. 

This song would fit perfectly in a series like This is Us. From the dynamics and relationships and memories to share – there are constant threads of relation.

'Under Milk Wood'

While the eponymous character is central to the story, this is a true ensemble piece and therefore hard to single out individual performances. Perhaps the exceptions are Charmaine Sibande who arguably has the most to do as the third Emilia exhibiting controlled rage and Dana Schindel is hilarious as Susan Bertie, Emilia’s early mentor.
